Being bullied has a big effect on a child especially in emotional aspects. Kids who are bullied are more likely to experience depression and anxiety. This can change in emotional and behavioral activities of childlike changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest of what they usually love to do.
Unexplained damaged and loss of your child’s things
When your child’s clothes, toys, and other things are damaged or missing and they can’t explain anything, they are more likely to experience bullying in school. A child who is being bullied often doesn’t tell their parents because they are afraid.
Sudden drop in grades
Declining of a child’s grades in school will be one of the signs a parent will discover when they are being bullied. Lack of interest in studying is the common cause of this. A child can’t perform well in school because they will be more focus on their experience about being bullied. Overall, your child will feel unmotivated in school.
Afraid of being left alone
Experiencing sadness and loneliness of your child is a very serious problem to deal with when he is suffering from bullying. These symptoms are the most painful feelings a child could ever experience. Children who are experiencing these are more likely to be clingy and will always be on the side of their parents. They don’t want to be alone because of the feeling of being hurt again by someone.
